PINECONE WOOD VASE

The Pinecone Vase is a tribute to my land, Romagna, which has a vast pine forest that Dante Alighieri  also mentions in the Divine Comedy.

It is made from a bioplastic, derived from renewable resources such as corn starch or sugar cane,  the material finish is given by the natural fibre added in 30%. The wood is pulverised and added to the PLA as a natural pigment.

The Pinecone Vase takes shape via the 3D printer.

A glass jar is included so that it can hold water for flowers.

 

 

Material

 

PLA (polycytic acid derived from renewable resources like maize, compostable in industrial facilities) + wood waste, hence the brown colour which may vary.
